Planners, Designers and Improvers
Planners, designers and improvers influence and support high-quality, team-based care without directly delivering care. This group can include change leaders, directors, educators, Ministry of Health staff, practice and team-based care coaches, project and program managers, quality improvement advisors and many others.
The journey towards quality, team-based care with patients and providers as equal team members means sharing and accessing resources, events and opportunities to support everyone along the way.

Enhanced MOA Role in Abbotsford
The Garden Park Clinic in Abbotsford successfully expanded the scope of their Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) through the Advanced Medical Office Assistant (AMOA) program at University of the Fraser Valley. Based on learnings from the program, the clinic has been able to improve organization and efficiency and introduce group patient visits at the clinic.
