Event Description

Join us on October 19 for the kick off to Season 4 of Team Up! where we will hear about the work that is happening around patient perspectives on the communication of team-based care. Members from UBC Innovation Support Unit, along with patient partners will share their experiences and highlight some key learnings from their current learning cycle, with the goal to inform patient communications around primary care transformation and team-based care.

Learning Objectives

1.  Share learnings and insights from the learning cycle that examined the patient perspective around the communication of team-based care to the public. Patients share their experiences and recommendations.

2.  Reflect on the importance of patient communication, in the context of change and system transformation. 

3.  Discuss how this can be applied to practice in communicating team-based care to patients at both the clinic and system level.
