Quality Forum 2023

This year’s Quality Forum is once again a three-day event and will include a variety of sessions on topics related to improving quality across the continuum of care. You can look forward to a selection of full-day pre-Forum sessions on June 6, as well as the annual pre-Forum evening event, Health Talks. The main Forum programming on June 7 & 8 will feature a mix of content, including plenary speakers, workshops, focus sessions, rapid fire presentations, storyboards, field trips and more.

The Finding Your Way in Teamwork: Team Coaching Principles Workshop is a two-hour long virtual education session for members of interprofessional rural BC health care teams on the eight elements of high-functioning teams. When teams are able to cultivate these elements they are more able to create a positive work environment, rekindle joy in their work, optimize their team’s performance, and increase the quality and safety of care for patients.

We will: introduce Team Mapping (what it is, when its useful, how it works), PACC mapping (what it is, when to use it how it works), and provide an overview of ISU resources to support the implementation of Team-Based Care in clinical settings and in communities.
